Join us for a hike with a view! The tour starts from the city center of Kristiansand and fits for all of you that want a medium challenging hike, but don’t want to spend the whole day.

Together with your guide, you will start walking through the outdoor area Baneheia, which is much used as a walking, keep-fit and recreational area. You will walk in the direction of the scenic nature park Ravnedalen. The park was developed and planted by General Wergeland and his troops in the 1870-80’s, after many years use as pasture and for wood cutting. Enjoy the sight and feel the fresh smell of nature. The park has a wealth of plants and trees, and a lake where you most likely will spot the swan pair. During the summer months there are frequent concerts, festivals and theatre productions here, while simple meals are served in the café.

After taking in the impressions in Ravnedalen, we are heading for the top, Ravneheia. To get here, we are climbing the stairs made of nature stone! This is a medium level challenge. Ravneheia is located 144 meters above sea level, and on the way there are several good view points from where you can see the ocean, Odderøya and the city center. On top, feel free to add a stone to the cairn! We will rest for some time at Ravneheia before we do the stairs down again. If you want to, your guide is able to arrange a waffle and coffee break at the café in Ravnedalen, before heading back to Kristiansand city center.
